Jerry George is a fisheries biologist with more than 20 years of experience studying trout and salmon ecology in the Northwest and Alaska. He has spent the last four years as the ODFW Deschutes District Fish Biologist where he enjoys working and recreating on the region’s lakes and rivers.

Fishing the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway will highlight angling opportunities at ten waterbodies within a 60-minute drive of Bend, Oregon. The talk will cover popular waterbodies including Hosmer, Lava, Crane Prairie, and Wickiup as well as some lesser-known fisheries and include an overview of each waterbody, angling regulations, and tips for success.
