Christian Heath has been with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife for nearly 15 years in a variety of different projects that include work at sea with the Marine Reserves and Fish Research, commercial port sampling in Pacific City and Newport, sampling coordinator for the albacore fishery coastwide and currently in fisheries management as the Pacific halibut and recreational groundfish Project Leader. Christian is both a resource manager as well as a resource user, as his hobbies include spearfishing for rockfish and harvesting mushrooms.
