The Washington Sportsmen’s Show is thrilled to welcome WDFW biologist, Jesse Lamb, to the Walleye Tank and 2025 show. He’s only presenting once (Thursday at 3:30), and if you are at all interested in catching walleye this is one session you’ll want to attend. Jesse will detail the biology and habits of these tasty and plentiful fish.
In order to be effective in catching specific species of fish (like walleye) a person needs some background on the biology and life histories of that particular type of fish. Jesse will dive into where walleye are found seasonally in the Columbia and Snake Rivers, what drives their movement, and what prey is available. How do we apply this biological knowledge to catching fish? What are the best tactics for catching numbers of fish? What about seeking out trophy fish (walleye in the 10+lb range)? Expect this to be an exceptional hour of information.
